How to get Adobe invoices and receipts for Creative Cloud and Acrobat
Where to download Adobe invoices for Creative Cloud, Acrobat and other plans, why Adobe doesn't email monthly invoices, how Creative Cloud for teams invoices work in the Admin Console, and how to identify an Adobe charge.
Adobe plans renew every month or every year, and their invoices are easy to lose track of. Adobe doesn't email you a monthly invoice, and it only keeps a few years of history in your account. Here's where to download Adobe invoices, how the teams version works, and how to get a year's worth in one sitting.
Short answer Sign in to your Adobe account at account.adobe.com. In Orders and invoices, select View invoices for your plan, or View all invoices. In the invoice history, use the Download PDF icon to save an invoice. Adobe keeps up to 3 years of invoices and doesn't email monthly invoices automatically, so download them yourself. Creative Cloud for teams: in the Admin Console, go to Account > Billing history.
Where Adobe sends receipts
When you first sign up, Adobe emails an order confirmation. After that, Adobe doesn't send monthly invoices by email. Its help says plainly that you can't receive monthly automated email invoices. The invoices are in your Adobe account, and you can download them or have them emailed to you one at a time.
That's the main thing to know about Adobe. If you rely on your inbox, you may find the sign-up email and little else that works as an invoice for the renewals after it.
Downloading an Adobe invoice
This works for individual plans, including Creative Cloud, Acrobat and other Adobe products.
- Sign in to your Adobe account.
- In the Orders and invoices section, select View invoices for your plan or product. To see invoices for everything you've bought, select View all invoices.
- In the Invoice and billing history window, choose an icon next to the invoice: - View PDF opens it in your browser. - Download PDF saves it to your device. - Email PDF sends it to your email address. - View Receipt shows the receipt for a subscription payment.
To find one purchase, type its order number in the search bar.
Adobe keeps up to 3 years of invoice history in your account. Receipts (as opposed to invoices) are available only for payments from July 2026 onwards. For older ones, Adobe says to contact Adobe Customer Care.
Adobe's help pages call these sections Orders and invoices and Invoice and billing history. The account also has a Plans and payment area for changing your payment method. Labels may shift as Adobe updates the account pages.
What an Adobe invoice shows
An Adobe invoice includes the invoice number, invoice date, customer number and other billing details, so you can match it to the plan and the charge on your card.
When the amount isn't what you expected
Adobe lists the usual reasons a charge changes:
- A promotional or introductory price ended. Introductory pricing for students and teachers, for example, applies to the first year only.
- An annual plan renewed. Annual plans paid up front renew once a year, so you see one large charge.
- A free trial converted to a paid plan.
- You cancelled an annual plan billed monthly early. Adobe may charge an early termination fee.
- You have more than one plan. Each Adobe subscription is billed separately, and cancelling one doesn't cancel the others. Adobe gives Acrobat Pro and Adobe Stock as examples of separate plans.
- You have more than one Adobe account, under different email addresses.
Identifying an Adobe charge on your statement
Adobe card charges usually appear as ADOBE followed by a transaction ID. If you don't recognize one, Adobe's Charge Finder tool identifies it without signing in. You enter the last four digits of the card, the card's expiry date, and the transaction's date, amount and currency. It shows the email address and plan the charge belongs to, plus the invoice number. It only works for card payments, not PayPal, and new charges can take up to 48 hours to show up.
Creative Cloud for teams invoices
Teams plans bought directly from Adobe keep their invoices in the Adobe Admin Console, and only the contract owner can see them.
- Sign in to the Admin Console and select Account > Billing history. If you don't see a Billing history tab, you're not the contract owner.
- Select one or more invoices. You can sort by Invoice Date or Amount, or search by invoice number or amount.
- Choose Download invoices to save them as PDFs, or Email invoices to send them as PDF attachments. When you email them, you enter the recipients, and Adobe also sends copies to all administrators in your organization.
An invoice can take up to 24 hours to appear after a payment. Adobe emails a notification when it's ready.
Teams payment receipts
For an invoice paid online by card or bank account, select the More actions icon next to it in Billing history and choose View receipt. The receipt is proof of payment. Adobe says it isn't a tax invoice, so keep the invoice for tax purposes. Receipts are only available for payments from June 15, 2026 onwards, and not for invoices paid with credits or offline.
Download before you cancel
Teams invoices stay available while your contract is active. Adobe says you lose access to them if you cancel or change your plan, so download what you need first. If you bought through a reseller, get invoices from the reseller instead.
Bought through Apple or Google Play?
If you subscribed to an Adobe app through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store manages your billing. The receipt comes from Apple or Google, not Adobe. In your Adobe account's plans page, a Go to App Store or Go to Google Store button appears for plans bought that way.
Getting a whole year of Adobe invoices
Because Adobe doesn't email monthly invoices, your inbox won't have them. Go to the source:
- Individual plans: open View all invoices in your Adobe account and download each invoice for the year. With history capped at 3 years, it's worth doing every year rather than waiting for an audit.
- Teams: in Billing history, select every invoice for the year and choose Download invoices in one go.
- Check your inbox for the rest. Order confirmations and any invoices you emailed to yourself will be there. In Gmail,
from:adobe.com (invoice OR order OR receipt) after:2025/01/01 before:2026/01/01is a starting point. Sender addresses vary, so widen the search if something's missing. More Gmail searches for receipts.
Keeping Adobe receipts tax-ready
- Download invoices on a schedule. Monthly or quarterly, before Adobe's 3-year window closes on the oldest ones.
- Keep the invoice, not just the receipt. For teams, Adobe is explicit that receipts aren't tax invoices.
- Watch for extra plans. Acrobat or Stock added on top of Creative Cloud is billed separately and has its own invoices.
- Note what it was for. "Creative Cloud for client design work" helps if the subscription is partly personal.
Doing it with What Receipt?
Adobe won't email you monthly invoices, but you can send them yourself. In your Adobe account, use Email PDF to send an invoice to your inbox. If Gmail is connected to What Receipt? (Pro), it's picked up automatically. Without Gmail, forward it to your personal forwarding address from Settings, or drop the downloaded PDF into the app. For teams, Email invoices lets you enter any recipient, so you can send a batch straight to your forwarding address. Each invoice is read for vendor, date, total and tax and filed with your other receipts.
Adobe is a classic recurring charge, and Pro's recurring-charge detection spots it. If a month's charge goes missing, you get an alert, which can be the first sign of a failed payment or a plan that changed.
